Piano

+ Keyboard

The Piano program at the Con offers Piano and Keyboard tuition for beginner and advanced students aged four to adults. The programs are designed to help students explore their musical potential by developing musicianship and technique to the highest level. The program embraces all performance styles, including classical, jazz, popular, blues, and other contemporary styles.

Students may study the Australian Music Examination Board Classical syllabus or Piano for Leisure syllabus and take exams if they wish. Students are also encouraged to undertake the Musicianship or Music Craft courses offered by the Conservatorium.

In addition to individual tuition, students can gain performance experience in a friendly environment by participating in Conservatorium events.

Senior piano students can also participate in the Orchestral Program and join the Percussion Section of the Regional Youth Orchestra.
