AMEB exams at the Con

The Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) offers nationally recognised exams for instrumental and vocal students. These exams provide clear goals, structured progression, and performance experience that builds confidence and technical skill. Whether your child is preparing for a future in music or learning for personal enjoyment, AMEB exams are a valuable way to mark their progress.

Why sit an AMEB exam?

  • Provides students with a goal to work toward
  • Recognised qualifications and certificates
  • Encourages discipline, musicality, and skill development
  • Performance experience in a formal setting
  • Feedback from an external, professional examiner
