The Vocal Performance Ensemble is designed for singers aged 13 to 18 who are passionate about developing their vocal skills and performing with others. This dynamic group explores a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical to contemporary works, ensuring rehearsals are both challenging and enjoyable.
Participation in the ensemble helps young vocalists refine their technique, including breath control, phrasing, and tone. Rehearsals also focus on ensemble singing skills, such as blending and harmonising, creating a polished and cohesive sound.
The ensemble performs regularly at Conservatorium events, giving members the opportunity to share their talent and hard work with an audience. These performances build confidence and provide valuable experience in a professional setting, inspiring personal and musical growth.
Beyond the music, the Vocal Performance Ensemble fosters a sense of community and belonging among its members. Singers form meaningful connections with like-minded peers while enjoying the shared excitement of making music together. This choir is an excellent platform for aspiring vocalists to enhance their skills, build friendships, and experience the joy of performance.
