Friend's Winter

Concerts

Gain performance experience in a friendly and encouraging environment

These concerts provide students undertaking AMEB or HSC exams an opportunity to perform a selection of their program. This is a great opportunity for students to overcome performance nerves in front of their peers before sitting their exams.

Students are asked to stay for the duration of the concert in which they are performing, to provide an audience for other participants.

Accompaniment

Students will be allocated the same accompanist that they will be using for their AMEB or HSC exam. If you have not already done so, please contact the Office as soon as possible to arrange rehearsals.

Participating students are entitled to one free 30-minute rehearsal with their accompanist. The Conservatorium also covers the accompaniment fee for the Winter Concert.

Parents are responsible for payment of all other accompaniment rehearsals and the AMEB examination. This amount will be added to your invoice.

Attire

Students are required to present themselves in a neat and tidy fashion. Jeans and joggers are not acceptable.

Cost

Admission to these concerts is free, however donations to the Bursary Fund are gratefully received.

This is always a wonderful afternoon of music, so please bring your family and friends along to enjoy.

RSVP

Students will be given flyers with permission slips by their teacher. These slips must be returned to their teacher by Saturday, 27 July (end of Week 1, Term 3).
