Due to a scheduled power outage on Sunday, 28 July, the Winter Concerts have been moved to Saturday, 27 July. (Updated 18 July)
Gain performance experience in a friendly and encouraging environment
These concerts provide students undertaking AMEB or HSC exams an opportunity to perform a selection of their program. This is a great opportunity for students to overcome performance nerves in front of their peers before sitting their exams.
Students are asked to stay for the duration of the concert in which they are performing to provide an audience for other participants.
Accompaniment
Students will be allocated the same accompanist that they will be using for their AMEB or HSC exam. If you have not already done so, please contact the Office as soon as possible to arrange rehearsals.
Participating students are entitled to one free 30-minute rehearsal with their accompanist. The Conservatorium also covers the accompaniment fee for the Winter Concert.
Parents are responsible for payment of all other accompaniment rehearsals and the AMEB examination. This amount will be added to your invoice.
Attire
Students are required to present themselves in a neat and tidy fashion. Jeans and joggers are not acceptable.
Cost and Registration
Admission to these concerts is free, however, donations to the Bursary Fund are gratefully received.
Register for the concert (performers & audience)
This is always a wonderful afternoon of music, so please bring your family and friends along to enjoy.
