Withdrawal from lessons
To withdraw from a lesson or ensemble, four weeks’ notice is required by phone, letter, or email once the term has started. The Director can discuss special consideration for withdrawal due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, income or relocation. If you plan not to continue lessons in the next term, please notify the office before the term starts.
Communication
The Conservatorium communicates with students and their families primarily by SMS and email. Please keep your contact details up to date to ensure you receive important updates. We recommend adding our email address, TRCM_admin@thecon.com.au, to your contacts to avoid missing any notices.

Photography/Videography
Per the Enrolment Terms and Conditions, students' photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes. If you would like to update your media preference to allow or disallow photos and videos, please speak to a member of the admin team.
Parents and guardians are reminded that photos and videos are not to be taken at events due to Child Protection and Copyright laws.
Health and wellbeing
All lessons and ensembles follow current health recommendations. Please do not send your child to lessons if they are unwell. Teachers may refuse to teach students displaying signs of illness (lesson fees will still apply). Teachers will also not conduct face-to-face lessons if they are unwell.
Creative Kids Vouchers
We are an approved provider for the Creative Kids program. Parents, guardians, and carers of children aged 4½ to 18 can apply for a $50 voucher for creative and cultural activities outside school.
Copyright
Students are expected to purchase music books as needed. Conservatorium staff adhere to the Copyright Act 1968 and cannot provide copies. A selection of music books is available at our office, or teachers may be able to recommend resellers.
Child protection
All TRCM teachers and staff have completed the NSW Working with Children Check, as required by the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
