Be rewarded for your hard work

The Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music offers six competitive scholarships, providing winners with weekly 30-minute lessons throughout the year.

  • Jean Grace Gray Youth String Scholarship: For string players aged 18 or younger (AMEB Grade 4+).
  • Jeff & Hazel Lee Youth Piano Scholarship: For pianists aged 18 or younger (AMEB Grade 4+).
  • Youth Instrumental Scholarship: For instrumentalists (excluding piano and strings) aged 18 or younger (AMEB Grade 4+).
  • Vocal Scholarship: For vocalists aged 25 or younger (AMEB Grade 4+).
  • Junior Scholarship: For students aged 12 or younger, any instrument/voice (AMEB Grade 2-3).
  • Daniel & Jo Sherwood Rural Scholarship: For students aged 18 or younger living 45+ km away, any instrument/voice.

Auditions are held in a public concert-style format. Requirements include performing two contrasting works, with time limits varying by scholarship.
