Tamworth Con Community Orchestra

The Tamworth Con Community Orchestra (TCCO), formerly known as the Regional Youth Orchestra, has been rebranded in 2025 to create a more inclusive ensemble that warmly welcomes both youth and adult musicians. Open to string, woodwind, brass, and percussion players aged 13 and over, this group is ideal for those at approximately Grade 3 (AMEB) or higher.

TCCO provides a vibrant platform for musicians to refine their technical and ensemble skills while enjoying the camaraderie of playing with others. Rehearsals focus on dynamic and diverse repertoire, offering players the chance to develop confidence, technique, and a deeper understanding of orchestral music.

The orchestra regularly performs at major Conservatorium events, including the Showcase Concert, OrchFusion, and the Christmas Concert, providing members with thrilling opportunities to share their passion for music with audiences. These performances celebrate the talent and dedication of all involved.

Whether you’re a seasoned musician or looking to reengage with your instrument, TCCO offers a welcoming and inspiring environment. Join us to connect with like-minded players, grow as a musician, and experience the joy of making music together. WWCCs are not required to participate.
